Welcome!

"2 to 1 Counterbalance" is in reference to a post I wrote over at TechLearning. The idea is that, rather than merely have the necessary ethical discussions with our students about the Internet, we also invite them to contribute to building a stronger and healthier Internet. The news is filled with "bad things" that can be done with technology. What if we encourage students to respond to each of these events with 2 positive acts on the Internet? Rather than view negative uses of the Internet as something that we can do nothing about, hopefully we can reinforce the view that we as individuals and as collectives have the power and responsibility to shape the direction and evolution of this powerful medium.

I've created this group as a place to aggregate resources that students and teachers can quickly go to in order to proactively contribute to a better Internet.
