Pingfm tutorial.

I've been spending some time on the various microblogging places and really don't have time to go to all of them, so now, I've used pingfm to update them all. (There is a place to go to get the most recent invite beta code, that will be my next link.) This great tutorial got me started on pingfm so that it will update all of the services I use. Suzie Boss writes a comprehensive overview of the growing use of twitter in education. I find it so interesting that many of the complaints about twitter are also the initial complaints I heard about blogging. This is a very nice overview of twitter for those who are wondering "what is the fuss?"

Edmodo is best described as Twitter for students and teachers. In reality though, it's basically a private micro-blogging service for schools with built-in security features that give teachers privacy controls over their virtual classrooms.
