      Michigan may see a resurgance in vitality as water resources become increasingly taxed elsewhere (i.e. Atlanta). MI is a state mostly free from worry about weather calamities (no hurricanes, flooding happens, but hasn't been horrible, forest fires are rare, and mudslides are unheard of), and may become a "safe haven" in the future.

But, how will we generate the electricity for that demand?" Or, on a deeper social studies level, "DIscuss what you think would happen to those countries like Saudi Arabia and Iraq whose economy is based on oil production? Support your thoughts." Do yourself a favor and watch this video. Then send it to every economics teacher you know.
