I really think as I grow older in teaching that demonstrating an environmental "practice" makes a big difference. Things like recycling centers or corner boxes to hold scrap to reuse makes a difference as children see practices into use.

I have a few books, art based , about using found art to make something new again that are really wonderful. I'm going to put the titles in as bookmarks?

I'm hoping this book marking is not annoying, let me know if it is, I was preparing what to do for my next weeks.
I've been at break so this swings us into action fast. Pretty much from here on out in my career this is going to be the focus of my time, as it was most of the time until the mandates took my focus a bit.

The main book I advocate for younger kids is
Beautiful Stuff: Learning with Found Materials (Hardcover)
    by Cathy Weisman Topal
