I use Diigo a lot. Recently I discovered that I use some urls everyday and multiple times. So filter is a great way to keep those urls handy and for quick access. I started realizing that there are more than 2-3 tags (lists) I need on my mouse-tips. I tried setting up a filter like this - daily knowledge (two tags separated by space). I think the toolbar should fetch all the links with these two tags and display as a drop down. Somehow the list comes empty. (Yes, the list shows all the links when I set the tags separately).

Am I really missing something here? Please help.

When you wrote "I think the toolbar should fetch all the links with these two tags and display as a drop down.", did you expect to see all bookmarks/links that have both these tags or one or the other?

Using two tags separated by a space means tag1 AND tag2. I tried several tag combinations in my bookmark collection to see whether I get an empty list when I would expect to get results. But I couldn't find such a combination. Using more than one tag as a filter in the toolbar always gives me a list of links which have been assigned all of these tags.

One other thing you should consider: When you set the filter for the toolbar, what's your setting after "Who:"? Is it "All" or is it "My"?

If it is set to "All" and you use a combination of tags for which the resulting bookmarks are private, then you will get an empty list. If you set it to "My", you will get to see your private bookmarks in the list.

Thanks for the replies. Well you answered my question. This is an AND query and not OR.
However it would be nice to be able to set the filters in both ways.
Something like "tag1 tag2 tag3" (surrounded by quotes) means AND condition. Also tag1 tag2 tag3 means OR condition.

~ Guys at Diigo, would you consider this?
