Hi everybody !
I tried to export to del.icio.us format, but del.icio.us can't import the file generated.
When i take a look to the XML file, i notice stranges things.
for example :
"descrption is empty (descrption="") so when i use this file to import my bookmark in other social bookmark (like Ma.gnolia) there is no description for each line of my bookmark
and seems to miss "i" for "description" (instead of descrption).

The del.icio.us format we generate is not for importing to del.icio.us, it is just compatible format with del.icio.us api. Del.icio.us currently only supports importing bookmarks in browsers.
go to this page:

check the help section on the left:
1. Save your browser bookmarks to a file
* Choose “Manage Bookmarks” from the Bookmarks menu
* Choose “Export...” from the File menu
* Choose a location for your file (such as your desktop) and click Save
(Show instructions for: Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, other)
Note: uploading XML, Excel files, mp3s, or anything except bookmarks files probably won't work.
or you can generate the firefox format files and upload to del.icio.us.
i've generated the firefox format files and upload to del.icio.us. It work, except the tag.
In del.icio.us the generated tags are like that : shortcut.web, shortcut:freeware,....but i renamed them and it works !!!
Now i have a saved bookmark in del.icio.us :)
