Hello, I just wanted to ask if there is a chance that one day, Diigo would not only maintain a copy of a full bookmarked page on their servers, but also store a local copy on my computer? I often bookmark some things and then when my notebook is offline, it would be really nice to read them or keep them for reference. What do you think?

I guess, that this could be done with Google Gears (for Firefox and Internet Explorer). Remember The Milk and Google Reader offer similar functions.

This can be an advanced feature later.

Am i right, that local caching and perhaps synchronizing would speed up the Diigo experience a lot?

Another possibility is to provide a hook to some other Firefox / Explorer extension that already saves pages offline (e.g. Scrapbook for Firefox), and just synchronize the actions on Diigo with the local directory saved by the extension.
