So, I've started using the groups, but I'm having a hard time convincing even the people who joined the group to actually post links to it. Apparently, clicking in a drop-down and checking off groups to share to is too much work. ;-)
Anyway, since we all already tag our bookmarks, I'd like to suggest a tagging mechanism for sending bookmarks to groups. This would have a major usability benefit, and wouldn't preclude continuing to use the existing system. It would be much more keyboard friendly -- since the bookmarklet and plugin default to the tags field anyway, it's just a matter of typing for:coders or whatever...
I know del.icio.us has a for:user feature, but this would be much cooler and more useful.

Meanwhile, besides the pop-up window drop down "add to group" menu, you can also share any number of bookmarks (individually or in a batch) in "My Bookmarks" >> click check box in front of ea. bookmark >> "Share to Group" drop down menu.
for:user may make more sense than for:group, since group names now tend to be quite long
