I don't suppose by any chance there is a mobile version of diigo is there? I couldn't see a link.. but services don't always make them easy to find.

Its not something I'm dying for, but there are a few occasions where it'd be quite nice to be able to access my highlights from my mobile.

    Eg:
I bookmark a local cinema and highlight the directions and phone number.
I highlight some info about something I'm studying (japanese verbs) and want to read it while i'm on the train.
I highlight a game walkthrough and want to check it when i get stuck playing Metroid Hunters on the DS.

I'd guess you could also provide links from the bookmarks to google mobilized versions of the pages (and maybe even the originals as more and more people get decent 3g web phones).

I wonder if the sidebar would work as a lightweight mobile version??

You can access bookmarks from your phone now. http://m.diigo.com/user/Yourusername. It is a prototype.

Please give it a test drive. Feedback / comment welcome! Thanks

Excellent.. just as i imagined it!
Was there a link somewhere to it that i missed, or is it still unofficial?

I'll try it out on my phone tomorrow. Only thing i might suggest, from a 2 second glance, is links to something like the Google Mobile Optimizer to shrink the original pages for phone viewing.

    Thanks! Diigo keeps getting better!

use your username in the link above. Unofficial for now...

Google Mobile Optimizer to shrink the original pages for phone viewing => sorry, I'm not technical - any reference?

there is also http://www.skweezer.net/ (which bloglines uses on their mobile version... though personally I've had some problems with it's caching on my mobile)
and I think there might be a couple of other mobile optimization services out there.

I don't know about the terms of service.
Eg: GMO version of this page:

    Hi, Maggie.

I tried mobile version from Japanese cell phone (Docomo SO902i).

I can see my bookmarks. But in the top of site, there is "var D_DOMAIN = ".diigo.com";". And I can't see Diigo logo, too. I can't login, too.

But, when I used "Google Mobile Optimizer" (Japanese version http://www.google.co.jp/gwt/n), I can see Diigo logo and I can login.

Unfortunately, still I can't use "setting" (no error, but not changed).

I think search tag feature is useful.

    Just report.

Mah, Not sure if we can easily reproduce here - will try.

FYI - a mobile bookmarklet will be forthcoming shortly.

    Hi there!

I´m extremely interested in some "mobile bookmarklet", and I´m sure that there´s a huge community of phone and MID users that would be interested in this feature as well (at present, we can check our bookmarks, but we can´t use the "highlight" function using any of the regular mobile browsers (Internet Explorer, Opera, etc).

    Any news about this?

    Thanks!

    Dear Maggie,

I found the diigo mobile service extremely useful and important but I see that this service has suddenly stopped working. Will it be made available again? If yes when will that be?

Please reply as it is very important for me.

I appreciate all your help and cooperation.

    Diigo is simply great..

    Thanks.
    Chitrank.

Temporarily interrupted by a server setting that we're working on. Should be ok now - please advise.

FYI everyone - we're working on a major backend upgrade. We are anticipating to roll out sometimes soon (most likely this weekend). Service will be down to implement the roll out. We will minimize the maintenance downtime as short as possible. Stay tuned for the latest announcement... Thanks!
