Sorry for what is probably a "newbie" question, but my searches haven't turned up an answer.
Is there a way to block a particular user's sticky notes?
Failing that, is there a way to just turn them off altogether? I have a sticky note showing up on my Google Reader page, and it has no relevance to the page, and I can't seem to make it go away.
I don't really care about sticky notes, I just wanted a bookmark tool, so just blowing them away isn't that big a loss.
Thanks for any help!
on the diigo toolbar, click on the highlight down arrow, choose 'don't show highlight' -- done!
i don't know any way to get rid only of stick notes and keep highlights.
...or block a particular user's sticky notes.
there are three kinds of sticky notes.text, floating, and whole page comments. i've added all three to this page. the whole page comment doesn't show up on the page itself; i don't know if there is a way to leave some flag that it is there on the page. the only flag is the comment icon in the toolbar; you can read the comment in the sidebar.
for the other two, text and floating, showing them along with any highlighted text appears to be all or nothing.
a suggestion to DIIGO developers: work out some middle ground between all and nothing.
