    Hi everyone,

We're preparing some marketing material and evaluate some new features. We would really love to hear and talk to some of you to see how Diigo is being used, and in what industry and application.

I'd particularly like to talk to some educators and see how Diigo is being used in a classroom setting. Of course, all industry and applications are very welcome and appreciated! Bet there are a lot of creative ways in Diigo that we don't even realize yet :-)

Please feel free to to share your experience here, or drop me an email to info at diigo dot com discuss in private. I really, really, really, really want to hear from you. Best chance to get one-on-one with me :-) and get your testimonial showcased.

Thanks so much for your help in advance,

    cheers,

    ~ Maggie

PS. We'll do a Diigo usecase / application contest soon (need to do some prep work here) - all of your contribution here will also be considered as part of the forthcoming contest. Please also help us think along to see what will make this contest attractive. Thanks a lot

Not sure if that's what you mean but here's something I do:

I use the feed of one of my tags as a additional Linkblog for my blogreaders. I let display the titles in the sidebar but also give the feed away to my readers (via feedburner to track the statistics) so that they can read the parts of the articles I have highlighted with diigo. kind of summaries or 'most interesting parts'.

(although I just discovered that you have disabled the delivering of the highlights within the feeds? on my feed right now are only the links to the bookmarked sites)

    Maggie,

I am going to send you an e-mail about the educational uses of Diigo from the perspective of a student of online education, but I also wanted to mention a useful business application that a friend of mine used Diigo for.

He is a web designer and using Diigo enables him to have in-situ "conversations" with his clients about design and content issues. Prior to Diigo he says there was confusion about precisely what was being discussed, but now with highlighting and sticky notes, there is no doubt and interaction between him and his clients is far easier. Some clients have joined Diigo and he is able to create a group with them, but for those clients who are intimidated by technology, he can foward to them and then they e-mail him. Even that he says helps tremendously.

    Great.

    Also, thanks for sharing http://writerresponsetheory.org/wordpress/2007/02/09/marginalia-in-the-library-of-babel

Using Diigo as a tool for creating fiction - fantastic idea!
