can any of the Diigo folks comment on whether or not Firefox should allow me to add an inline comment to a highlight? If Firefox does not do it, what is the reason for the difference v.s IE?
"I will also add though that the Add Inline Comment feature of a highlight does not work for me in Firefox. It only gives me the option to create a sticky note, and those cannot be made public. I can see other users inline notes ,but cannot add one of my own. "
When you mouse over to the highlight, you can add a in-line sticky notes by clicking the "Add sticky note" menu.
in-line sticky notes in FF = in-line comment In IE.
We will make IE toolbar and FF toolbar more consistent soon.
OK> But why can I make the inline note in IE public, but cannot make the Sticky Note in FF public? They still seem to be different features.

I wanted to provide a look at what I am seeing to check if it is the expected behavior, so I recorded a video. You can see that on the same page, there is a difference using the Toolbar vs using the Diigolet in FF. In IE both the toolbar and the diigolet work like the diigolet does in ff.

Got it. It's a but. We will fix it soon.
Thanks.
Great news, I will look forward to the fix in a future release.
