Could you please get them done?

We don't limit the tagging number or the length of one tag. Could you give an example?
Chinese text searching is supported, however, it is not as good as English text searching:( .

I think the system limits the number of tags one item (bookmark) can have. say these two examples

    http://www.diigo.com/user/alanpoon?domain=concise.britannica.com

    http://www.diigo.com/user/alanpoon?domain=www.about.com

You can count that they have 20 and 19 English tags, but only 17 and 18 Chinese tags, 經濟 (economics)、科學 (science)、科技 (technologies) and 經濟 (economics) are missing respectively. I thought it's my mistake and but it's not. I've tried to add these two websites as new bookmarks and carefully inputted all the tags, they just still don't show up. Even so, editing tags have more limitation on the number of tag character.

I should have explain it more clearly on the Chinese text searching. I agree with you that Diigo supports that, but only if the user can type in the exact full title or tag, if it's not, say searching "圖" or "圖書館" for these two

    Library Views 圖書館觀點
    http://www.diigo.com/user/alanpoon?domain=libraryviews.blogsome.com

    國家圖書館編目園地全球資訊網
    http://www.diigo.com/user/alanpoon?domain=catweb.ncl.edu.tw

These two bookmarks won't be in the search result. One has to search "圖書館觀點" or "國家圖書館編目園地全球資訊網" exactly in order to get these. It's so inconvenient that it may takes the user a lot of time to search the bookmark out if one does not remember the whole title.

By the way, "Add new bookmark" is no longer in "My Bookmarks"'s "more Actions" list, I wonder if you could consider readding it as bookmarklet may not always be used in the computer other than my own. Thank you so much.

====>Tag number: Got the problem. I will double check it.

=======> We will try to improve it. However, we need some time to improve this feature

Just wanted to chime in, I've noticed the same problem too in my Japanese tags. For example:

    http://www.diigo.com/user/hagure/村上隆
    (murakami takashi)

There are only 2 links displayed here, should be about 70 or so (all imported from del.icio.us, but I also tried re-adding them to a few links, to no change). I've noticed this bug in some other of my kanji tags, most which have many different english and japanese tags. On the other hand:

    http://del.icio.us/haguremetaru/東京
    (tokyo)

Everything comes up like it should.

Ah...Non-roman/unicode in urls is a b***h, huh? I remember running into so many problems trying to create a "Japanese Dictionary Lookup" bookmarklet, that I just gave up. Best of luck figuring things out!

PS: Are these "me-too" bug posts encouraged? Or am I just adding noise? I wanna help out with bugs and such, but don't wanna be a bother.

The tag problem is really frustrating that I just found in one case

Scholastic, Helping Children Around the World to Read and Learn | Scholastic.com
    http://www2.scholastic.com/

in my bookmark collection, it not only excludes all my Chinese tags due to "Tag number", but also cut half of one tag "safety" to "saf". It could because a break-down of the whole tagging system. Please do really solve it as soon as possible. Thank you!

Ok. This is one of our top priority stuff now.

    Hi Terry,
    I checked your bookmarks
    1) http://www.diigo.com/user/hagure/村上隆 contains 2 bookmarks while http://del.icio.us/haguremetaru/村上隆 contains one. BTW http://www.diigo.com/user/hagure/村上 contains many bookmarks
    2) http://www.diigo.com/user/hagure/東京 contains 63 bookmarks while http://del.icio.us/haguremetaru/東京 contains 62 bookmarks

Could you double check it? The problem you experienced may be due to the tag index delay (Your tag cloud may require more processing after you imported many bookmarks at once).

=====> I noticed the problem. Due to performance issue, we limit the total tag length to 256 Bytes(about 256 English letters). Another reason we limit the tag length is that some bad guys spam the system by tagging, for example, inputting many many spam tags in a bookmark. I hope you understand it. Thanks
