Diigo groups allow an ordinary group member to be converted to a moderator.

I had thought this might allow them to edit or delete other peoples annotations. BUT this does not seem to be the case.

What can a group moderator do that an ordinary member can not do?

Are there further rights planned for moderators in the future?

    Hi,

    Moderator can:
    - Manage group
    - Manage forum
    - Manage member

And they can edit and delete group bookmarks and forum contents.

    Hi Mah

that is certianly what I thought they might be able to do, but I am not sure it works too well - they certainly cannot edit or delete other peoples bookmarks.

    Hi Andrew,

Uhm... I think it is something wrong. I can do those action in here. You need to ask Diigo staff with more details (whitch group and so on) information.

On the bookmarks side, moderator can delete bookmark / annotations (but not edit). On the forum side, moderator can have the full edit / delete right. On the group membership management, he can also invite / remove / ban users (ban = never allow to join this group again).

Biggest difference between owner and moderator is that moderate cannot remove the ownership from the owner (ie. remove / ban owner).

    Hope this helps.
