getting error message "Sorry, the page you requested was not found.
Please check the URL for proper spelling and capitalization. If you're having trouble locating a destination on Diigo, try visiting the Diigo home page" when adding a private list. The list appears to get created, but I get the same message when I try and access it."
How does one delete an unwanted list?
Also when I try and associate bookmarks with a list, the bookmark tag indicates it was added, but when I go to the list, nothing is there.

however,it seems ok for me when i try to share a bookmark to my private list;
i just wonder maybe u miss something.. do u operation like this below?
1.open two firefox tabs(if u use ie,it means two ie windows) ,the first tab is on My Bookmarks(diigo) page;the second tab is on your private list;
2.on the second tab,u delete this private list(if public list,it is the same);
3.then u back to the first tab,and try to share one bookmark to the list you've deleted(if u didn't refresh the first tab)===>you would get :

so,if u miss the point:just try to refresh the page and try again,if it still like what u reported before,we'll continue look into it.
